Short Rests

To take a short rest, simply tell Franz, “I take a short rest”, or something to that effect. He will ask you to roll hit dice.

After rolling, you should automatically have some health restored.

You must have hit dice remaining in order to successfully perform a short rest.

To regain hit dice, you will need to take a long rest.

Long Rests

To take a long rest, tell Franz that you wish to take a long rest. You usually need to be in a situation where a long rest makes sense, such as staying the night at an inn.
