Starting your first campaign

1. We recommend picking a featured world to get started. You'll find these on the home page! These are some of the best worlds that we, or our players have created.

2. You can pick one of our existing characters, or create your own!

3. Choose your inventory

4. Invite your friends! If you want to invite a friend to join you in your adventures, you can do so on this campaign lobby page.

5. Once you've started the campaign, you just talk to Franz to begin the game! You can update your world, character sheet, and everything from the sidebar. Franz can tell when you're talking "in game" first "out of game".

6. Franz may get things wrong, or sometimes get caught up in loops! This is just a problem with the current state of AI, and we're working on addressing it. For now you can use the feedback buttons on the right side of the message to have Franz re-write the message, or you can edit his message yourself.

Customizing your experience

If you've played for a bit and want Franz to act differently, visit the settings tab in your campaign to make some adjustments! You can give him custom instructions to vary response lengths, speak like a pirate, or whatever else you can think of. You can also change his language setting here.
